Commander Kindra
Kindra Reid is a Personal Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength Conditioning Association. She is also certified to perform the Functional Movement Screen, a ranking and grading system designed to document movement patters and identify functional movement deficits.
Kindra has worked with professional, semi-professional and amateur teams and athletes to improve athletic performance, speed and agility, core strength and endurance. Cricket players, cyclists, distance runners, golfers, soccer players, and mixed martial arts athletes have hired and consulted with Kindra in order to perform better and achieve a variety of new “personal bests.” Kindra has also worked with weekend warriors, new moms, first responders, busy professionals, retirees and others to help achieve goals related to increased strength, enhanced balance and flexibility, fat loss, weight management and stress reduction. Kindra is an experienced “Boot Camp” class instructor, and enjoys working with clients of all ages and abilities.
Kindra is a graduate of the National Personal Training Institute, the University of Washington, The George Washington University, and the University of Washington School of Law. When she is not with clients, Kindra enjoys strength training, hiking, skiing, running adventure races, good coffee, and playing with her lab-boxer rescue pup, Sarah. Kindra is a devoted college football fan, and an aspiring figure competitor (a form of women’s bodybuilding). She hopes to compete for the first time in April 2012.
